For Miro’s new Amsterdam hub, a large screen above the coffee bar needed to be more than decoration—it needed to reflect the product itself. The brief: create a living, 3D data visualisation that brings Miro to life in the space.
Solution
I developed Living Canvas—a generative art piece inspired by Joan Miró, where live Miro data becomes an evolving visual system.
Working closely with 3D artists and the data team, we translated real product activity into abstract forms—where colour reflects global contribution, scale represents idea volume, and textures signal intensity of activity. The experience moves from the density of a single board to a wider view, revealing how individual contributions build into something bigger.
Outcome
A living artwork powered by real user activity—where continents appear through colour, ideas expand through scale, and moments of high activity surface through texture and motion. Always changing, never repeated, and quietly showcasing the scale and energy of Miro’s global community.
Role
Multimedia Creative Lead — concept, narrative, and visual direction across 3D and data.
